If I were a superhero, I would be..."

If i could be any superhero I would be superman because of the speech from kill bill 2 where bill explains superman's identity to Kiddo. He says "I'm quite keen on comic books. Especially the ones about superheroes I find the whole mythology surrounding superheroes fascinating.Take my favorite superhero,Superman. Not a great comic book Not particularly well-drawn. But the mythology.. The mythology is not only great, it's unique. Now, a staple of the superhero mythology is, there's the superhero and there's the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When that character wakes up in the morning, he's Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic Superman stands alone.Superman didn't become Superman. Superman was born Superman When Superman wakes up in the morning, he's Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red "S" that's the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kent's found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears - the glasses, the business suit - that's the costume. That's the costume Superman wears to blend in with us.Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent? He's weak...he's unsure of himself...he's a coward.Clark Kent is Supermans'critique the whole human race."

why it must be difficult to be a parent?

The Reason why I believe it must be difficult to be a parent is because when you become a parent you become responsible for another persons life. Parents have to teach their children wrong from right  and basically how to function in society . A parent shapes a child into the person they will grow into. if  a child is not rai correctly that child can be come a major burden on the state and the parent.

"If you were the teacher the first thing you would do would be...

If I were teacher the first thing I would try to do is get to know my students on a personal level so that it would be easier to connect with them. This i believe would cut down on the misbehavior in the classroom because my students would know what my intentions are and how i want the too succeed.

The nicest thing anyone has ever done for you .

The nicest thing anyone has ever done for me is take up for me when everyone else was against me. when i was in middle school and i kind of didn't have any friends my cousin Kevin  invited me to hangout with him and at first everyone thought i was strange and really weird. at that age i was extremely advanced for my age so that also made me an outcast but my cousin didn't let anyone put me down or kick me out of  the group. my cousin was my first real friend and he made sure i hung out with the right people who wouldn't take advantage of my kindness. Those people are still my friends today and i personally believe i learned a lot from them .

Fruit Man Portraits Period 4

Fruit Man Portraits 2011

Write about a person that you see on the way to school. What details about that person make you notice him or her

This person I think might live some where around me because every time i wake up and leave the house hes
up walking to school right in front or behind  of me. at first I thought it was kinda weird because we kinda don't  get along but he speaks sometimes and I speak back because its polite to speak to people (at least that's what i was taught growing up). I guess what really makes me notice him is his style its kinda like the guy version of mine he comes to school dressed up but its not clothing you would seen on many other guys hes kinda like my male doppelganger.Sometimes we get into arguments though the few times we talk but my friends call it flirting and if this is flirting well I'm completely lost.

your favorite experience of all time.

My favorite experience of all time would have to be the first time i got dressed up and went to a night club with my 2 best friends Dee-Dee and Brit. this was the most fun i had ever had in my life. we danced and partied until the club closed. after the club we all marched  up to Dee-Dee's house then started to drink all the water in the house and eat all the food.dancing is hard work but i'm glad i had my friends to do it with.

Write about the most interesting thing you've ever heard of or learned

The most interesting thing i learned was a bout the Aztec culture human sacrifice. Human sacrifice was an aspect of historical Aztec culture, although the extent of the practice is debated by scholars. The Spaniards who first met the Aztecs explicitly stated in their writings that human sacrifice was widely practiced in Mesoamerica. For example, Bernal Díaz's The Conquest of New Spain includes eye-witness accounts of the remains of sacrificial victims. In addition, there are a number of second-hand accounts of human sacrifices written by Spanish friars, told to them by native eye-witnesses.

Currently, scholars largely accept that human sacrifice was practiced in the Aztec Empire as well as throughout pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. Since the late 1970s, excavations of the offerings in the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan,Teotihuacán's Pyramid of the Moon and other archaeological sites have provided physical evidence of human sacrifice among the Mesoamerican peoples.
A wide number of interpretations of the Aztec practice of human sacrifice have been proposed by modern scholars, with regards to both its religious and social significance. For example, one theory that has been widely discredited is that the Mesoamerican diet was lacking protein and that cannibalism of sacrificial victims was a necessary part of the Aztec diet. Other theories link the practice to special socio-psychological factors or see it as a political tool. Most Mesoamerican scholars, however, see it as a part of the millennia-long cultural tradition of human sacrifice in Mesoamerica.
Human sacrifice among pre-Columbian indigenous populations is a controversial topic. The discussion of human sacrifice is also tied with the classic conflict between viewing indigenous peoples as either "noble savages" or "primitive barbarians" also within modern scholarship, where some scholars tend to romanticize the description of human sacrifice while others tend to exaggerate it.

Write about a teacher that helped influence or change you

A teacher that really changed me for the better would have to be my old history teacher Mrs.Knox she was in my opinion the best history teacher I had ever had . Mrs. Knox made learning about history fun for me again, she made me see the cultures of other people from around the world without even leaving the classroom. Mrs. Knox was like a second mother to me.  She made sure i kept my grades up and stayed out of trouble.  One of the most important things Mrs. Knox  taught me is that there are good teachers out there who actually care about the children they teach. Mrs. Knox changed be for the better i feel and hopefully some of the newer teachers can take note of the great job she did with children other than my self.
